These days, we find women who work outside the home have a lot of choices once they have a baby. Some take extended maternity leave. Some quit. Others work flexi-time or part-time. Several get the offer to work-from-home for a fixed period of time, say one year. Others switch to consulting positions or become freelancers, with more control over their working hours and travel schedules. A few work weekends while their partners take up childcare duty.
